Come on now, keep up, don't get too far behind...
She tries unsuccessfully. Her pace is steady but unable to decrease the distance that lies
between us. I am unable to turn back or even slow down to help her. One step at a time,
keeping rhythm within her head. I want her to succeed, but I question her determination.
Her method is awkward, unorthodox movement, and she hasn't the instruments to
communicate the melody to me as time runs out. I want her to keep up so badly, be she
must want it for herself, and she must want it for me also. She continues in the dark.

I happened upon your blog and liked what I read. Keepin' Up is really deep. As a writer I felt an energy within the words and lines. I'll keep checking back to see what else you post. Hell, I may even add you to my page (with your permission of course), just so you're easy to get to. Was in ATL last week :)
Wow, that was deep. I really enjoyed this and can relate to what you're saying. Excellent writing.
