This is going to be some real funny shit!
Superfly, Willie Dynamite, Truck Turner, and Shaft were a few of the icons that graced the screen during the early and mid 70's, and they always seemed to get over on "the Man." I've always been a fan of blaxploitation flicks. Even as a young kid I was aware that these offshoot movies were created at the hand of those who defied the mainstream Hollywood themes, and were made on modest budgets outside of the big Hollywood machine. Admiring the independent spirit in which these flicks were made, with limited resources, the feature movie "Black Dynamite" a satirical throwback and homage to the blaxploitation era, was released from these same roots, and this new animated feature on Adult Swim doesn't fall short, and it's proof that it's paying dividends. Enjoy this laugh!
